a lot.
bill walks probably even more.
we have a hyper dog.
after managing 6 miles at lunch and on break at work, i came home yesterday to walk woodford another 3 miles.
bill and i have nike fuel bands which we track our activity with - so the walking has become a game.
but breaks were still needed
thoroughly worn out we came home to water the patio plants.
this morning was quite the feat for bill and i. we've slacked on running for probably 6 months now. we had a nice lazy streak but we're pretty out of shape and ready to plan a few races and work towards a few goals.
we do have a wedding to attend and one of our own in 5 months to prepare for!
so out of bed at 5:30 we were, and lacing up our shoes and harnessing woodford for a 2 miler around the neighborhood.
i was pleasantly surprised that i was able to breathe and keep a steady pace throughout. i took 2 planned rests to let woodford get a drink of water and poop before looping back to the house.
i'm clearly not breaking any of my own pr's right now, but it feels good to be back at it, enjoying the sun coming up in the morning.
all the walking i've done lately has really made my legs ready and yearn to run.
do you go through periods of slacking when it comes to working out?
